Today is a bittersweet day for this proud Mamma bear ❤️ my baby turned one today 😭 he is growing so fast... too fast. He is walking, running, babbling away and eating food like there is no tomorrow 😂 I am so proud of him. I am also proud of me too because today marks one full year of Breastfeeding! Golden Boobies YAY! Anyone who knows me knows how I struggled so hard with my first born trying to breastfeed. 8 long weeks of trying, pumping round the clock, pain for both him and me, motillium and fenugreek out the wazoo and significant weight loss we decided to use formula. Formula saved me and my baby, he thrived and flourished on it and I was so grateful to finally see my baby happy, with a full belly and gaining weight as he should be but I still longed to Breastfeed. This time around I was more determined than ever. I joined Breastfeeding support groups, educated myself as best I could I was almost ready I was gonna make this work! Positioning baby was my biggest hurdle, being large chested made Breastfeeding difficult for me the first time round, juggling bulky feeding pillows and battling dead arms just trying to get the angle just right. No not this time, I was determined to do better. To help me position baby better at the breast My mother helped me to make our very first Mamma-pillo! I was in love. It was the very first item in my hospital bag and to this day my most used baby product. I live and breathe Mamma-pillo because it helped me. If our product can help even just one mum to reach her goals and makes her life even just a little bit easier than I am happy lady.
