Hi! I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself. I’m Jacquie and I’m the person behind the Baby Buddy Nursing Pillow.

I originally became involved with the Baby Buddy as a seamstress when my own daughters were young. I was looking for flexible work I could do from home and sewing for the Baby Buddy fit the bill. I loved that the Baby Buddy pillow was owned and operated by a fellow stay-at-home-mom and was a local, handmade product.

When the original owner was ready to move on, she offered me the company and I jumped at the chance to take the lead. It is important to me to provide incredible customer service and a high quality product to new parents.

Owning my own business has taught me that I can’t do everything or be good at everything myself. In order to continue to grow in my business, and in life, I’ve had to learn how to ask for help. This hasn’t been the easiest lesson to learn, but it has been worthwhile.

I love being a local-to-Calgary business. Being outdoors is my favorite thing and living here, on the threshold of the Rockies, allows me to x-country ski, hike, and bike as often as I can. My ideal day would be spent in the mountains with my family, enjoying my morning cup of coffee, sitting in a lawn chair, overlooking a lake. We’d go biking or hiking during the day and spend the evening laughing and chatting around the campfire.

When I’m not busy making pillows, you’ll find me supporting new moms as a postpartum doula. .
I look forward to sharing the Baby Buddy love with more new moms and dads across Canada while still maintaining that small company, excellent customer service vibe that is so integral to my business.
