" there is no substitute for mothers milk " • I have been so blessed to be able to breastfeed all my babies for a minimum of 5 months. Baby Hart has provided quite the challenge to me though. Hart and my boob were not the best of friends, she was awkward only attached every now and then and I knew from my instinct she was never getting enough. More often than not she would not attach at all! This left me feeling deflated, crappy and dissapointed. I have been exclusively pumping and bottle feeding. What a chore this is , but I wanted her to have my milk. I have plenty so I wasn't going to be the reason she didn't get it. Every now and then I try again and attempt putting her on the breast. Today she attached and fed and fed and fed. I was so amazed and so excited. Both sides too!! Hopefully we can do this more now.
